Do I need a ticket to go to the Craft Sale?
No! The craft sale and vendor marketplace is FREE to attend. The craft sale is only on Saturday, November 17 from 9am-5:30pm at the Hudson House Grand Hotel (1616 Crest View Drive).
What hours are the Chamber office open to buy tickets?
Our regular office hours are Monday - Friday 8:30am-4:30pm. We are located at 502 2nd Street in downtown Hudson. We will be open the weekend of the tour on Saturday, November 17 from 9am-5pm and Sunday, November 18 from 11:30am-4pm. We accept cash, check or credit card (Visa, MasterCard & Discover Card) payments.
Are there any additional Ticket Sales locations besides the Chamber office?
Yes, tickets for the Traditional Tour can be purchased at Lavender Thymes (512 2ndStreet #13), SEASONS on St. Croix Gallery (401 2nd Street, Hudson House Grand Hotel (1616 Crest View Drive). Cash or Check only at these locations. Dazzle Tour tickets can also be purchased at Lavender Thymes. A limited number of Black Tie Tour tickets will be available for purchase at Urban Olive & Vine (520 2nd Street).
Can I buy Tour tickets the day of the event?
Tickets for the Dazzle Tour can be purchased up until the day of the event on November 16 at the Chamber office (502 2nd Street) or Lavender Thymes (512 2ndStreet #13). Traditional Tour tickets can be purchased now and through the entire event weekend at the Chamber office (502 2nd Street) with cash, check or credit card or at the following locations with cash or check only: Lavender Thymes (512 2ndStreet #13), SEASONS on St. Croix Gallery (401 2nd Street), and Hudson House Grand Hotel (1616 Crest View Drive). Tickets for the Black Tie Tour must be purchased by November 12 to guarantee a spot. If you are interested in attending please call the Chamber after November 12 to inquire about availability 800.657.6775.
Is transportation provided?
Transportation is included with the Black Tie Tour on Friday evening as well as the Traditional Tour on Saturday and Sunday. There is NO transportation for the Dazzle Tour.
Where do I park and catch the shuttle for the Traditional Tour?
Parking and shuttle pick up is at the Hudson House Grand Hotel (1616 Crest View Drive).
How often do shuttle buses run for the Traditional Tour?
Shuttles run approximately 15 minutes apart. There are 10 shuttle buses.
Can I drive myself?
Absolutely! A map is provided with each ticket and lists the home addresses as well. If you drive yourself, please park only in designated parking areas (parking in a NO Parking area will get your vehicle towed at your expense).
What happens if there is inclement weather? Can I get a refund?
The tour is held rain, snow or shine. (We've put in an order for shine!) Please dress appropriately for the weather as you may experience some wait times outdoors. There are no refunds for tickets purchased.
What if I don't make it to all the homes during the Traditional Tour or Dazzle Tour?
We design the tour route and shuttle service to provide you with the best opportunity to see all the homes in one visit. If for some reason you cannot make it to all the homes your Traditional Tour or Dazzle Tour tickets can be used on BOTH Saturday and Sunday during Tour hours as well.
Do I need to take my shoes off in the homes?
Yes, you will be required to remove your shoes as you enter the homes. Make sure you have shoes that go on and off easily. You must be wearing socks (break out your favorite holiday themed socks to wear!). You will be provided with a plastic shoe bag to carry your shoes through the homes and to use at each location.
Can children attend?
Children under the age of 12 are not permitted on the tour.
Can I take photos?
We do not allow any photos to be taken inside of the houses.You may take photos of the outside of the home.
Who displays decor in the homes? Can I purchase the items?
Our retailers and local businesses help the homeowners prepare for the Tour each year. The majority of items are available for purchase. You will be provided with a list of businesses that had products on display at the homes you visited.
What is the Purple Bow?
Local businesses will be giving away door prizes at their location during the tour hours only. Each ticket purchased before November 12 is entered into the door prize drawing. A list of participating businesses is printed on your ticket. Look for the purple bow as well that identifies participating businesses. Each home has a larger grand prize as well. Make sure you check your ticket number at each home too.
Are there any special lodging discounts?
Yes! Our lodging properties have each designated a special lodging rate or package for overnight guests staying the weekend of the Tour. Visit the Girls Getaway information page for complete details.
